Resilience Roundtable: WNC Business Pivot Chats

The entrepreneurial community of Asheville and Western NC is beautifully unique. It is collaborative, kind, supportive, growth-oriented, intentional, community-driven, the true embodiment of how collective growth benefits everyone.

Historically our economy has been supported by both locals and tourists alike. Now, the impact of Helene is pushing so many of us to rethink how we bring in revenue, especially as local funds are focused on essential rebuilding efforts for the foreseeable future.

For many of us, continuing to earn an income while WNC rebuilds will require new offerings, tapping into new audiences outside of our area, and rethinking the way we’ve run our businesses for years. This can feel daunting, confusing, and even conflicting.

In these monthly Pivot Chats, we’re figuring it out together. Join a group of fellow local entrepreneurs to connect and brainstorm new approaches, marketing ideas, and practical strategies for reaching customers beyond our region — all while keeping WNC’s community spirit at the core.

Led by Alyssa of Amp’d Designs and Nicole of Nicole McConville Photography, each session provides a welcoming space for business owners to share their experiences, gain support, and celebrate wins along the way. We’ll identify creative ideas for sustaining your business, ways to adapt your services or products, and how to continue building income during this time.

There’s no easy formula for navigating a natural disaster, but by coming together, we can help each other and ensure our local economy comes back stronger than ever.
